English: Caption text says "This University of Iowa athlete established a new world's record of :23 4-10 for the 220 yard low hurdles in the dual meet with Northwestern at Iowa City Saturday. It bettered the former mark of :23 3-5 made by A. Kraeenzlein of Pennsylvania in 1898 and tied in 1913 by Wendell of Harvard"
