Developed as a race car with the aim of competing at both the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Although it did compete in Sebring, that was its last race. A second 'mule' car was completed (along with two additional unfinished chassis) but this is the only complete car known to exist. Its tubular frame was based on the contemporary Mercedes-Benz 300SL's.
