Summary

Description
English: Children at Mallala waving 'Welcome and 'Narrow Gauge Extension' banners and flags; Dignitaries stand on one side. The photograph was probably taken when school children welcomed a Parliamentary Party on Friday 22nd October 1909. The 'Advertiser' Saturday 23rd 1909 reported on the trip which was made at the request and the invitation of the Mallala Railway Committee.
