Summary
| Description | A flash mob, or 30-minute crowd-gathering, created as a Media event outside Westgate Hall, Canterbury, Kent by the Westgate Hall Salsa pressure group at 1.00pm on 13 February 2010. The event was supported by the "Save Our Museums" pressure groups. The event was to raise Media awareness that Westgate Hall in Canterbury was threatened with closure by the City of Canterbury budget 2010−2011. All those present were aware that they were there to be photographed. Behind the lady in the check jacket is Bob Long, leader of the Westgate Hall pressure group, and to the right of the lady in check jacket is James Flanagan, Liberal Councillor for Westgate ward. |
