2. Геральдическое описание герба города гласит:

«В червленом поле золотой стоящий на задних лапах лев, держащий в правой лапе золотой заступ, а в левой, - золотой серп. Щит увенчан золотой башенной короной о пяти зубцах, окруженной по обручу золотым лавровым венком»
