Summary

Description
English: Cogglesford Watermill - Great Spur Wheel, near to Sleaford, Lincolnshire, Great Britain. The large great spur wheel with two stones, the one of the left is the working pair. The stone is local (ish) millstone grit from Derbshire, formed in the Carboniferous period from sediments worn down off the newly formed mountains Euramerica. The sediment was washed into the sea, swamping the corals from a river of Missipian size sourced near Greenland. Anyway enough geology, the chain infront is connected to the sack hoist upstairs.
