DescriptionCrichton-Stuart Memorial Chapel, Falkland.jpg
English: The chapel was commisioned by Lord Ninian Crichton-Stuart, Laird of Falkland, as a memorial to his son Ninian Patrick who died in 1910, less than three years old. It was designed by the architect Reginald Fairlie, and was intended as a Roman Catholic church for the Falkland area. The chapel was incomplete when Lord Ninian was killed at the Battle of Loos in 1915. The walls were then finished off to make the structure sound, but it has never had a roof. Members of the Crichton-Stuart family and others are buried in the chapel, and it is used as a venue for weddings and other events.
