Deutsch: Das Pedum erinnert an den heiligen Willibrord, den ehemaligen Patron der Kapelle Gladbach und darüber hinaus an die Beziehungen zur Abtei Echternach. Die Eisenhutfeh erinnert an die Zeit Theoderichs von Esch (um 1278). Die Farben Rot und Silber stehen für die Herrschaft der Trierer Kurfürsten. Der goldene Wellenschildfuß symbolisiert den Namen des Ortes Gladbach, heller, glänzender Bach. |
