Summary

Description
English: Surface of dried pond sediments of a rock pool in South-Western Finland. The sediment surface is covered with the dried bodies of Daphnia magna. Many females carry resting eggs (=ephippia), some of which will hatch when the rock pool receives water after the next rain.
