DescriptionDillon family group including Lord Clonbrock and Lord and Lady Clanmorris.jpg
Dillon family group including Lord Clonbrock and Lord and Lady Clanmorris, gathered outside Clonbrock House, Ahascragh, Co. Galway. A fine early shot, but marred by the broken glassplate.
http://catalogue.nli.ie/Collection/vtls000315679# Photographs were taken by members of the Dillon family, Barons Clonbrock, of Ahascragh, Co. Galway, especially Luke Gerald Dillon, Fouth Lord Clonbrock, and his wife Augusta Crofton Dillon (of Moate Park, Co Roscommon). The couple had a studio and darkroom on the grounds and was referred to as the 'photo house'. Clonbrock House was destroyed by fire in the early 1990s but the photo house survived.
