Description
English: "The Virgin Sewing While Angels Rock Her Son to Sleep", an engraving from by Hieronymus Wierix from Jesu Christi Dei Domini Salvatoris nostra Infantia. The woodcut was the source of S.T. Coleridge's poem "The Virgin's Cradle Hymn" of 1799.
