Summary

Description
English: Dorothy Hodgkin Building The new D block in the department of chemistry. This block has been named after Dorothy Hodgkin, a pioneer in the use of X-ray crystallography. She was awarded the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1964. The block houses on the ground floor analytical chemistry, on the 1st floor, supramolecular and radical chemistry along with the tea room, and on the 2nd floor organic synthesis. On each floor there is a 'dry' corridor comprising offices, and a 'wet' corridor (on the side visible) for lab work.
