Description
English: This is a photograph of the late Dr. Henry Bernard Luhn (1867-1932). He is best known for serving as captain of the first Notre Dame football team. After graduation, Luhn became a physician working out of Spokane, Washington. He and his wife were in a car crash in 1931, and the injuries from the event eventually led to influenza and his sudden death February 12, 1932 at the age of 67.
