Description
English: Sepulchral Gothic monument of Cardinal Francesco Zabarella (1360-1417), bishop of Florence and professor of canon law at the University of Padua. The monument is completed at the top by an ogival archosolium surmounted by five statues with the Madonna and Child and four saints, perhaps of Rinaldino da Francia (1397) and decorated with frescoes, with the Annunciation. Under the arcosolium, a canvas depicting the Crucifixion of Luca Ferrari of Reggio.
Français : Monument gothique sépulcral du cardinal Francesco Zabarella (1360-1417), évêque de Florence et professeur de droit canonique à l'université de Padoue. Le monument est complété au sommet par un arcosolium ogival surmonté de cinq statues avec la Vierge à l'Enfant et quatre saints, peut-être de Rinaldino da Francia (1397) et décoré de fresques, avec l'Annonciation. Sous l'arcosolium, une toile représentant la crucifixion de Luca Ferrari de Reggio.
Italiano: Monumento sepolcrale gotico del cardinale Francesco Zabarella (1360-1417), vescovo di Firenze e professore di diritto canonico all'Università di Padova. Il monumento è completato nella parte superiore da un archosolio ogivale sormontato da cinque statue con la Madonna col Bambino e quattro santi, forse di Rinaldino da Francia (1397) e decorato con affreschi, con l'Annunciazione. Sotto l'arcosolio, una tela raffigurante la crocifissione di Luca Ferrari di Reggio.
