Looking westish from Hallgrímskirkja's tower the closest house is the Einar Jónsson Museum, designed by the sculptor himself and housing a collection of his works. Einar Jónsson died in 1954.

The museum by Eiríksgata Initially uploaded to Wikimedia Commons (as File:Hnitbjorg_loftmynd.jpg), but moved to wikipedia as there is no Freedom of Panorama in Iceland, the building was completed in 1923, and copyright still applies to the building and its architecture.
