Summary

Description
English: Originally from Wheeling , Elizabeth married Rev. James Moore in 1853. Devoted educators, the couple served as administrators and teachers at the Monongalia Academy, Woodburn Seminary and the Morgantown Female Institute which were the prominent educational institutions in Morgantown during the mid-19th century. E. Moore Hall on the WVU campus was named in honor of Mrs. Moore.
