English: Eppa Hunton IV, Richmond lawyer and the second rector of the VCU Board of Visitors, was recently presented the first Wayne Medal, honoring Edward A. Wayne, chairman of the the commission which in 1968 recommended to the General Assembly the creation of VCU. The award, established this year by the Board of Visitors, is presented for distinguished service to the university. Pictured at the presentation are, left to right, Mr. Wayne, retired president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond; Robert A. Wilson, rector of the VCU Board; Mr. Hunton; and Dr. Warren W. Brandt, university president. A copy of the medal was also presented to Mr. Wayne.
