English: This statuette of an Algerian girl strewing flowers replicates the marble figurine produced by Barrias for the tomb of the orientalist painter G. A. Guillaumet, who spent much of his career in Bou-Saada, Algeria, but who is buried in Paris in the cemetery in Montmartre. This work is from an edition issued by the foundry Susse Frères.
