En punta, manojo de cinco espigas de oro, acompañado de manojo de amapolas de gules, perfiladas de oro, y surmontadas de cruz patada en oro entre dos bezantes también de oro. Al timbre, corona real cerrada.

Object history
Español: El escudo representa la quintana fortificada que daría origen a Quintanilla, con la azada y la espada rememorando que sería necesario trabajo y lucha para fundarla. En medio está el río Ubierna y debajo los campos que baña (el trigo y las amapolas) con dos monedas que simbolizan su fertilidad. Por último, la cruz muestra la tradicional devoción cristiana de sus habitantes desde la fundación del pueblo.
