English: The Eusebio Lopez Memorial School main Building in Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, served as the incarceration area for captured Filipino soldiers and American pilots and soldiers during World War II.
Constructed in the 1930s, the main building also served as the headquarters of Fourth Flight Division of the Japanese Imperial Air Force whose airfield was located in Barangay Malubon, Sagay City.
During the last days of the war, the Fourth Flight Division of the Japanese Imperial Airforce organized kamikaze or suicide units which was stationed in the building.
The main building was reconstructed after World War II and is continually used by the students until now. It has withstood the test of time.
The Eusebio Lopez Memorial School (now Eusebio Lopez Integrated School) was named in memory of Eusebio Lopez, one of the founders of Lopez Sugar Central Mill Co., Inc. (now changed to Lopez Sugar Corporation) who donated the land for the said public school.
