Description

Farfield House, Huddersfield Road, Halifax, West Yorkshire. Architect William Swinden Barber designed it for himself in the 1870s. It has now been converted into flats.

Points of interest
This is possibly a bedroom window, and it contains the last remaining original glass visible from the street. If you zoom in, you can see some of the glass paintings. The top left pane is illustrated with a bat. The top centre is an owl, and the top right is possibly a bird crossing the moon. The centre left has a flower and maybe a bee. Centre right shows irises and a butterfly or moth. Bottom right shows a dragonfly and plantlife. The pictures on the remaining panes are not visible.
