Description

Fino agli scontri del 7 gennaio 2010 l'ESAC, ex Opera Sila, ARSSA era lo stabilimento diventato la più grande baraccopoli per i lavoratori stagionali delle campagne tra Rosarno e Gioia Tauro. Questo "ruolo" era prima affidato alla Cartiera, andata però in fumo e poi murata nell'agosto del 2009. Le condizioni di vita degli abitanti erano pessime. Secondo Medici Senza Frontiere, che per anni hanno seguito i lavoratori stagionali in Calabria, gli africani arrivavano qui in buone condizioni di salute per poi ammalarsi qui cronicamente.
