DescriptionFirst Church of Christ, Scientist, Belfast (1) - geograph.org.uk - 561350.jpg
English: First Church of Christ, Scientist, Belfast (1) The First Church of Christ, Scientist stands, in the University area, on the corner of Rugby Road (left). It was built in 1936-7 to a design by Clough Williams-Ellis Clough_Williams-Ellis. More in keeping with the Mediterranean or (perhaps) California it contrasts with the surrounding area which is almost entirely red brick. A remarkable example of successful innovation in design.
