English: Flint Central High School, built in 1922 as Flint High School. It was renamed Flint Central in 1928 after Flint Northern High School opened. The architects of both schools are Malcomson, Higginbotham, & Palmer. Most of Flint's older school building were designed by these architects. Flint Central High School closed in 2009 due to Flint's declining population and students transferring to charter schools. Not to mention the fact that the Flint Community Schools completely neglected Central's maintenance needs during the school's final 10-15 years.
