Français : Autres titres : Lieu historique national des Forts-de-Lévis. Description : Le lieu historique national des Forts-de-Lévis est situé sur les hauteurs de la pointe Lévy. Il est constitué de trois forts formant une chaîne d'ouvrages militaires qui a été érigée entre 1865 et 1872 afin de protéger les abords de Québec et son port d'une attaque éventuelle venant des États-Unis. Les forts de Lévis, quoiqu'ils soient un lieu historique en eux-mêmes, sont aussi une composante du lieu historique national des Fortifications-de-Québec. Ils s'intègrent au réseau des lieux historique nationaux du Canada et apportent un éclairage spécifique sur l'histoire militaire et la défense du pays. Les forts de Lévis ont été désignés lieu historique national en 1920. Les motifs de leur désignation sont qu'ils constituent une partie intégrante du système des fortifications de Québec et qu'ils ont eu une importance stratégique.
