English: Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, Chapter Room - Monument to Francesco Dandolo. The sarcophagus was once entirely golden. The relief represents a Dormition of the Virgin surrounded by apostles. Painting by Paolo Veneziano : Doge Francesco Dandolo and his Wife Presented to the Madonna. Oil on panel 1339, below doge sarcophagus.

Huile sur panneau 1339, au dessous sarcophage du doge.
