Summary

Description
English: Fulling Mill at Pandy. This is believed to be the first fulling mill in Wales. Pandy actually means "fulling mill". The purpose of this type of mill is to take away fats and grease from wool cloth by beating it repeatedly in soapy water. This also has the effect of producing a finer and more compact material. This particular mill is now an art gallery.
