Summary
| Description |
English: Graveyard at Hanlin, Pyu ancient city. It is located in southern portion of city and nearby north of Shwe-Gu-Gyi Pagoda. This graveyard has been excavated in 2005. Excavation exposed the evidances of burial practice like the corpse's heads orientation to the north, burial goods of jewellery, pottery, bronze rattles, Neolithic polished stone tools and stone beads. Among them some of skeletons preserved in the soil which containing of calcium, salt and sulphur, become calcited and semi-fossilized.
