Summary

Description The Growstown School in Brunswick, Maine dates to 1849 and has been restored by the Town of Brunswick and the American Association of University Women to be used as a living history museum. Modern day students can experience what school was like at that time. There was, of course, no plumbing thus necessitating the use of the two "out houses" which if restored faithfully appear to not have any ventilation.
