English: * One Rupee (Green & carmine colour) King Victoria Head overprinted with "GWALIOR" and "SERSIVE" in Devanagri script (language Hindi) (Typeface O1)(1896)
  • Postage stamp of Gwalior state, a Central Indian convention state.
  • Error in that the last two Devanagari characters interchanged to read 'Sersive' instead of 'Service'.
  • Ser No O10a for Gwalior in Stanley Gibbons Stamp Catalogue Commonwealth & British Empire Stamps (1840-1970). (2008). London. Ref pp 283-285.
