Description
English: The Royal Australian Navy heavy cruiser HMAS Canberra (D33) burning and sinking on 9 August 1942, following the Battle of Savo Island. She was later scuttled that day. The destroyer next to her is probably USS Blue (DD-387). Savo Island is in the background.
