| Description |
English: In Linear regression (now Ordinary least squares) the example data gives heights in metres, but the original values were inches, and the conversion was bungled. Converting back to the original inches then converting correctly to metric removes the odd horizontal spacing. This shows a quadratic fit to a correctly-converted dataset. |
