Summary

Description
English: This map shows the main bathymetric features that lie south of the Hellenic Arc in the eastern Mediterranean. The basemap is taken from the NOAA Bathymetric Data Viewer using the Color Shaded Relief DEM. The location and naming of features is taken from Sakellarioiu & Tsampouraki-Kraounaki (2019) and the GEBCO Undersea Features Names Gazetteer. The Ionian Trench is also known as the "Hellenic Trench" in the more restricted sense of the term.
