Summary

Description
English: High Rocks on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells is an outcrop of Ardingley Sandstone laid down in the Lower Cretaceous period then wind eroded in the last ice age. The site forms a SSSI. They form a visitor attraction and are served by a hotel and station on the Spa Valley steam railway. The first written reference is in 1645, known to James II and George, Prince of Wales. On the top there is a network of bridges and paths- and disturbing 8m drops.
