Description
English: Hospital of Saints John the Baptist and John the Evangelist, Abbey Close, Sherborne. Grade I listed, this is the 'new' Board Room added to the 1448 almshouses in 1866 to a design by William Slater (1819-1872, partner of R H Carpenter who designed the nearby Digby Memorial).
