Description
English: This hand-coloured engraving of Primula elatior, the oxlip, was included in Volume 9 of "Icones Plantarum Medico-Oeconomico-Technologicarum", which was published in Vienna in 1819. Drawings and engravings in "Icones Plantarum" were worked on by cartographic engraver Ignaz Alberti, who carried on with the publication after Vietz's death.
