The outcrop near the top of the photo consists of cherty limestones of the Brush Creek Limestone (Glenshaw Formation, lower Conemaugh Group, Missourian Series, lower Upper Pennsylvanian). The rocks in the shadows just above water level are mudshales.

Locality: Island Run (at low flow), just downstream from Helmick Bridge (Helmic Bridge), southwest of the town of Eagleport, northwestern Morgan County, eastern Ohio, USA
