Italiano: Roma, Istituto giapponese di cultura. L'altare della festa delle bambole. La festa (Hina matsuri) si celebra il 3 marzo di ogni anno, all'arrivo della primavera. Nata da antichi riti di purificazione, la ricorrenza è dedicata ad augurare sana crescita e felicità per le ragazze. Le bambole rappresentano personaggi della corte (dalla coppia Principe e Principessa in alto fino ai giardinieri), e un insieme di oggetti lussuosi e benauguranti: alberi (mandarancio e ciliegio in fiore), ricche suppellettili, attrezzature da viaggio.
