Summary

Description
English: A bridge on the main road Gaza-Jaffa at Jisr Isdud, which was blown up by the Turks in their retreat after the fall of Gaza and Beersheba. The damage was repaired by the Egyptian Labor Lorps some of whom can be seen in the valley. 1917-early 1918. Photographed by Frank James Harlin. (Donated by mr. F.H. Smith.)
