whole: two images are positioned across the top edge and in the lower third, with four circular images positioned in the centre right, upper right, centre left and upper left, all held within green and yellow borders. The title is separate and positioned down the centre, in red and in brown. The text is separate and positioned in the lower quarter, in brown. Further text is integrated and positioned beneath each image as a caption, in brown. All set against a white background and held within a green border. image: the upper image is a depiction of the Rock of Gibraltar, with Royal Navy and merchant ships at sea. The lower image is of a temple set in the Burmese jungle. This poster was scanned and released by the Imperial War Museum on the IWM Non Commercial Licence. The artwork was created by a commissioned military artist during their active service duties in the First World War. In the UK this these became controlled under the Crown Copyright provisions and so faithful reproductions may be reused under that licence, which is considered expired after 50 years.
