English: Joshua J. "Josh" Wright, Jr. (1929–2017), also known as Doc Wright, was an American dentist and politician. Originally from Georgetown, South Carolina, Wright moved to Alaska in 1956 and practiced dentistry in Anchorage for many decades. He was elected as a Democrat to a single term in the Alaska House of Representatives in 1970, becoming one of a small handful of African Americans to have served in the Alaska Legislature throughout its history.
