After two years it will undoubtedly become an important link in thelarge electric railway system which seems destined tocover that section of the San Joaquin Valley at a datenot far distant.

For a distance of ten miles, between Visalia andExeter, the electric railway traverses the main trackof the Southern Pacific Railroad which has been elec-trified over this section by the addition of rail bonds,and the 3300 volt trolley. Twelve miles farther, fromE.xeler to Lemon Cove, a new n>ad bed has been con-Iructed, making the total lenglii nf the Visalia-LemonCove electrified route 22 miles.
