| Description |
English: Karori Library is a branch in the Wellington City Libraries network. It is located at 247 Karori Road, Karori, Wellington, New Zealand. The present two level building was opened in November 2005. Warren and Mahoney (2005) were the architects. The building architecture design was positively received. There is a cafe adjacent as part of the building. Food and drink can be consumed in parts of the library. The site has offered a library service since the 1840's when the library originally operated from the community hall. |
