Summary

Description
English: Exhibit of artifacts found at Kelly's Ferry in Marion County, Tenn. The community on the Tennessee River was the site of a Union camp during the Chattanooga Campaign. The Kelly's Ferry Road formed part of the famed Union 'Cracker Line' that was used to; supply troops and break the Confederate siege of the city. The items include Colt, Spencer, and Sharps bullets; a buckle; a spoon; part of a harmonica; oil lamp parts; an infantry button with an embossed eagle; and an infantry button embossed 'I'.
