Fair use for Crocoduck[edit]

   Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws, and the stricter requirements of Wikipedia's non-free content policies, because:
   # It is a historically significant photo of a science debate. 
   # It is of much lower resolution than the original. Copies made from it will be of very inferior quality.
   # The photo is only being used for informational purposes.

1. The image is of significantly lower resolution than the original screenshot (copies made from it will be of inferior quality).
2. No free or public domain images have been located for the subject of the article or the television series.
3. The image does not limit the copyright owners' rights to distribute the television series in any way.
4. Its inclusion in the articles is important because it represents a significant point in the person's/peoples' life/lives that is/are overviewed in the article. Additionally, the image helps to illustrate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
5. The image and ones similar to it are used on various websites, so its use on Wikipedia does not make it significantly more accessible or visible than it already is. The image is being used for informational purposes only, and its use is not believed to detract from the original television series in any way.
