Nederlands: De k.k. Staatsbahnen, de Oostenrijkse staatsspoorwegen, lieten bergschilder en alpinist Gustav Jahn in 1907 een affiche maken voor het Arlberggebied. In Sankt Anton, aan de voet van de Arlbergpas, was enkele jaren eerder de Ski-Club Arlberg opgericht. De Arlbergspoorlijn bood uitstekende internationale aansluitingen, zoals een klein kaartje onderaan het affiche aangaf. Opvallend op deze vroege skiposters is het gebruik van slechts één skistok. De zogenaamde Arlbergtechnik met twee stokken, die in deze regio ontstond, zou pas rond 1920 doorbreken. |
