The First Barodian Wrestler (from Thorat's Bal Vyayam Shala, Baranpura, State of Baroda) to represent India in 1936 World Olympics in Berlin. Late S/Shri Shankarrao & Marutirao Thorat were the two brothers who laid foundation stone of Thorat Vyayam Shala in 1931 and thereafter, Late Mr. Shankarrao became the first Wrestler to represent India in World Olympics.
