Français : «Tom», chien berger belge, par le sculpteur Jean Joire (Lille, 1862 - Lomme, 1950)

La sculpture est en bronze, le socle en granite. Il y a une inscription sur la plinthe : "J.JOIRE 1905". La sculpture est signée et datée sur la queue du chien : 1905/J.JOIRE ; il y a également une marque sur la queue : "Cire/perdue/A.A. Hebrard". La sculpture est visible côté jardin du Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille, rue de Valmy. (Éléments d'information reçus du Département / Bibliothèque - Documentation du XIXe siècle ; (D.R.) - Palais-des-Beaux-Arts de Lille).

Tom" is in brons, de basis is in graniet. Op de sokkel staat een opschrift: "J.JOIRE 1905". Het beeldje is gesigneerd en gedateerd op de staart van de hond: "1905/J.JOIRE"; er staat ook een merkteken op de staart: "Cire/perdue/A.A. Hebrard". (Elementen van informatie ontvangen van het Departement / de Bibliotheek - 19e eeuwse documentatie; (D.R.) - Palais-des-Beaux-Arts de Lille).
