Summary

Description

Ball-and-stick model of the coordination sphere of the Pb2+ ion in the crystal structure of anhydrous lead(II) acetate, PbC4H6O4, as reported in Inorg. Chem. (2016) 55, 8576-8586 and CSD entry EXALEW).

Three of the methyl groups in this image are disordered over two conformations, making them look like -CH6 groups rather than -CH3.

Colour code:

Lead, Pb: grey (1)
Carbon, C: grey (10)
Hydrogen, H: white (24)
Oxygen, O: red (10)
Model manipulated in Avogadro 1.2 and image generated in CCDC Mercury 3.8.
