English: "The Laws of Medicine, for Methodically Proceeding in the Healing of Illnesses" is a work authored by Nicolas Abraham, Sieur de la Framboisière, counselor and ordinary physician to the King, and published in Paris in 1608 by Michel Sonniys. This work offers guidelines and methods for effectively treating a variety of illnesses, based on consultations with the most celebrated physicians of the time. It also enjoys the privilege of His Majesty, indicating an official recognition of its content by the competent authorities.
